  17. own their farm with a mortgage. Mary lists she is the mother of twochildren after 22 years of marriage. They are living two doors down fromJacob's sister, Della Sunday's family. On the other side of Jacob twodoors down is the family of William Ritter, a second cousin
  18. "Jacob Ritter, son of Joseph and Eva Ritter, was born near Wooster, Ohio,March 21, 1855. Departed this life at his home in Angola, Indiana, onAugust 23, 1927, aged 72 years, five months and three days. He came toIndiana in October 1859, and resided on a farm until 1906, when heretired from farm life and came to Angola where he has since made hishome. On December 25, 1877, he was united in married to married Lucas,and to this union were born to sons, Louis A. and Gary, who with hisloving companion and five grandchildren, three brothers, Hiram Ritter,of Angola; Thomas Ritter, of Detroit MI; and George Ritter, of Toledo,Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Emmet Wehrly and Mrs. Adam Shafer of Angola,and Mrs. George Sunday, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, are left to mourn theloss of a loving companion, father and brother."
