Rinehart, of Dunkirk, O., and Mr. and Mrs. George Durwester (sic), of Logansport. Mrs. Durwester and Mrs. Krider are sisters."[Dec. 23, 1908 Fort Wayne[IN] Sentinel] Oct. 23, 1928 Tuesday Kenton Daily Democrat, Hardin Co., Ohio "WELL KNOWN DUNKIRK MAN PASSES AWAY Jacob Rinehart Dies At His Late Home After Long Illness - Was Well Known As Contractor; Funeral To Be Held Thursday Jacob Rinehart, well known resident of Dunkirk, passed away at his home on W. Wayne street, Dunkirk at 12:30 a.m. today. His death was due to complications. Mr. Rinehart was born in Hancock county, on March 28, 1848, and at the time of his demise was 80 years, five months and 25 days of age. During his life he was a carpenter and contractor. He was an active member of the Dunkirk U.B. church. Surviving relatives are: the widow, Mrs. Hattie Rinehart; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Krider and Mrs. Georgie Oppenlander, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one son, Clinton of Dunkirk; two brothers, Simon of Akron and Charles of Dunkirk; and one sister, Mrs. Hannah Doty of Defiance, Ohio. The funeral services will be held from the Dunkirk U.B. church Thursday morning at 10:30 with Rev. D.E. Corl in charge. Interment will be made in the Bishop cemetery in Hancock co." |
