    "Civil War Veteran" I have received more info. from Findagrave member, Perry Youngs regarding Zachariah's year of birth and service to his country. The NY Registers of Men who served in the Civil War shows him Born, 26 Oct 1808, Rensselaer County, NY. He enlisted in the 90th Regt., NY Inf., Company A, Portville, NY on 9 Sept. 1864 as a Private and is also shown as, married.
