Info. from FAG member Cherie Officer and The Olean (NY) Democrat, May 7, 1891 Page 5. Mrs. Luanna Oakley, a widow, aged 80 years and 7 months, died at her home on the Haskell Rd. Thursday evening ( not sure if this means she died on June 30th or May 7th?). She leaves two sons, George and John of Olean, and two daughters (names not mentioned). The funeral was held at her home on May 10, 1891. Special Note: Obit states interment to be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Olean, NY. Most Oak Lawn bodies were reintered at Mountain View Cemetery in Olean. and Oak Lawn Cemetery became Oak Hill Park. but, Luanna appears to have been buried at Chestnut Hill after her funeral Service instead of Oak Lawn.

Info. from FAG member Cathy Click and Olean (NY) Evening Herald, March 24, 1919. Amanda died at her home on the Haskell Rd. at the age of 69. She had lived there for 53 years. She was survived at the time of her death by four nephews, George and Lewis Oakley of Bradford, PA., Fred Oakley of Cylerville, (NY or PA?)John Oakley of Olean, NY., three nieces, Mrs Archie Mott, Olean, NY., Mrs. Clarence Kratts, Haskell Rd., and Mrs Irwin Benson of Hornell, NY. The Funeral was held at her home on March 26, 1919.
