    Norcross Jacob5 (Joseph4, Richard3, Richard2, Jeremiah1)..., born Oct. 19, 1751, married March 1, 1781, Elizabeth (Isabel) Banner, born 1761, and came from Bedford, Feb 1780 She died July 26, 1807 (family say 27th). He died, the result of an accidental fall, Nov 25, 1805 (family say 23rd) leaving no descendants bearing the name of Norcross. Jacob, is said to have lived on his father's place, on the Valley road in a brick house, he was a very large and strong man, "was a drummer at the time of the Lexington Alarm, and in the Service in 1778."
