1712 - married Mrs. Mary Ridgley, widow of Mareen Duvall and Henry Ridgley, and came into her substantial estate which included Duvall's Middle Plantation in Davidsonville, MD and Ridgley's Catton and Enfield Chase in Bowie, MD
Jun 1712 - traveled to England to report on the state of the Church of England in NY and NJ
Dec 1712 - returned to America, appointed to a Mission at Patuxent Hundred
1713 - became rector of St. Anne's Parish in Annapolis, MD
17 Dec 1717 - became rector of Queen Anne's Parish
20 Jan 1718 - petitioned the Maryland Land office to resurvey the boundaries of his properties as he believed that Benjamin and Joseph Cheney had "committed some trespass"
1721 - a new deed was issued to a much larger 1410 acres and the property was renamed Belair
1729 - traveled to England for 18 mo
1730 - returned to the Colonies and was appointed to the overall Mission of the Colony
1734 - resigned his appointment
1737 - gave Henderson's Chapel and 4 acres to Queen Anne's Parish
30 Mar 1737 - sold Belair, Enfield Chase and Woodcock's Range to Samuel Ogle and Benjamin Tasker for £500
