Charlotte b: 1846/1847 in Wayne, Ohio Mary b: 9 Sep 1849 in Wayne, Ohio Mary died 16 Jul 1860 in Defiance Co OH, at 10 years of age. Samuel b: 1851 in Ohio Levi b: 1854 in Defiance, Ohio d. 27 Nov 1853 Sarah b: 20 Jun 1859 Sarah Gier was born in Defiance Co OH 20 Jun 1859. Sarah died 13 Sep 1862 in Defiance Co OH, at 3 years of age. Her body was interred ca 16 Sep 1862 in Defiance Co OH, McCauley. Katieb. abt 1864 Ohio From James Cook The name is spelled Geier in Illinois and Oregon, Mary's maiden name is Hammond on son Levi's death certificate. We do not know why they are buried in Mt. Pulaski since, as far as we have found, they lived in Broadwell. Our best guess at this time is that the cemeteries in the Broadwell area all appear to have been private family cemeteries at the time. References
