From James Cook

The name is spelled Geier in Illinois and Oregon, Mary's maiden name is Hammond on son Levi's death certificate. We do not know why they are buried in Mt. Pulaski since, as far as we have found, they lived in Broadwell. Our best guess at this time is that the cemeteries in the Broadwell area all appear to have been private family cemeteries at the time.
