Nov. 25, 1774, Augustine and Catherine Coffman of Dunmore Co., Va., deed 142 acres to Jacob, George, and Andrew Cofman, sons of Jacob Cofman deceased, part of 424 acres granted by Fairfax in 1772. [Patent Bk. Q, page 5]. (Note: Augustine and Catherine Coffman were the grandparents of Jacob, George and Andrew Coffman).
