"Ezra Chase of Haverhill, Gentleman, Ebenezer Chase of the same place, Daniel Noyes of Newbury and Anne his wife, and John Chase of New Hampshire quit claimed unto Enoch Chase of Haverhill, all rights in Haverhill upon which said Enich Chase's house stands, 11 Ocy 1754. Acknowledged at Plaistow, NH, 26 Oct 1754 by Ezra Chase, Ebenezer Chase, John Chase, Daniel and Anna Noyes. Johannah Chase, widow of Jacob Chase of Haverhill, dec'd acknowledged same at Plaistow, 21 Dec 1754 (Essex Co. Deeds, 132:98).s1

    Jacob3 Chase (John2), born in Newbury, between 1690 and 1695; died in Haverhill, 11 Sep 1754. He married in Newbury, 24 Aug 1716, Joanna Davis of Haverhill, daughter of James, Jr. and Sarah (Wiggin) Davis, born in Haverhill, 5 Sept 1697. The place and date of her death are not known.
    He was a cooper and removed from Newbury to Haverhill about 1718. He was taxed in the eastern part of Haverhill, 10 Dec 1741 an was living in the East parish there 25 May 1743. He live later near the Baptist Church in the Rocks Village.
