Note from R. Baker: "Oscar was killed in a construction related accident in Ventura, California. He is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. They had no children together but Lucile had two daughters, Jane and Jerri Ray. They all moved to Ventura in 1940. Lucille returned to Kansas City after Oscar died and remarried Charles Pratt."
