Antill, Jacob - entered service in Berkeley County, Virginia; died 8/11/1800; married 2/20/1781 to Dorcas, daughter of John Dawkins, Berkeley County, Virginia; widow born 9/30/1763, granted Pension 1839 in Henry County, Kentucky; son John who resided in 1853 there stated that his mother died many years since; query letter in file in 1929 from descendant Miss Mary Rankley, Turners Station, Kentucky; query letter in file states soldier entered service 1776, further that a John Dawkins was a Revolutionary War soldier from North Carolina. R68.
