Jack visited England in about 1930 and stayed (or just visited} the Back family, Louis, and Zoe and Ione, who were then living in Lissenden Mansions, Hampstead, N. London. He visited England again in aboout 1974 and Ione & Ken Hobbs entertained him quite a lot, including taking him to Windsor. Every time he had change in his pocket he gave it to their son Neville. It is understood that he was a homosexual. He nursed his partner in America through a very bad illness.
