    JACK JORDAN
    Services for Jack Jordan, 62, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with John Brand of Greeley, Colo. officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
    Jordan died Thursday at a Houston hospital.
    He was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Sabetha, Kan., and was raised in Artesia, N.M. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. He married Nancy Lee Davidson June 25, 1955, in Las Vegas, NM. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1957 with a master's degree in geology.
    He was employed with Humble Oil Co., (Exxon) in Mississippi and Louisiana. He transferred to Midland in 1969 and remained with Exxon until 1975. He later was employed by Hamilton Brothers, General Exploration, Omar Operating Co. and Wiser Oil Co., before becoming an independent Geologist.
    He was a member of AAPG, West Texas Geological Society, SIPES, West Texas Landman's Association, and Midland Camera Club. He volunteered his services as a photographer for various organizations.
    Survivors include his wife; two sons, Craig Jordan of Dallas, and Michael Jordan of College Station, two brothers, Kirk Jordan of Needles, Calif., and Larry Jordan of Covina, Calif; and one grandson. Memorials may be directed to Casa de Amigos, 1101 E. Garden Lane, Midland, 79701.
