LIFE NOTES

Jack was afflicted with Cerebral Palsy. As with most parents, his were greatly troubled in this regard, and found much solace in the book Angels Unaware by Dale Evans-Rogers. In spite of his affliction, Jack was a lad who loved his family, found joy in interacting with them, and, when not in pain, was heard to laugh joyously much of the time.

MISIDENTITY

This Jack Leroy Hittle is sometimes confused with the son of John Henry and Margaret (Ault) Hittle. The two boys both died early, both in Northern Indiana, and were distant cousins. Their MRCA (most recent common ancestors) were Joseph and Mary (Bachert) Hittle of Marshall County, Indiana. From that relationship they were 3rd cousins, once removed.
