    Ivy Kelly
1926 - 2012 - Ivy Anita Kelly passed away peacefully at Monarch Hall, Riverview on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the age of 86. Ivy was born in Toronto, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Dora (Staples) Trumbley. She was married to Thomas (Tim) Patrick Kelly for 54 years until he passed away in 2003. Besides her parents and husband, Ivy was predeceased by her brother Ken Trumley. Ivy was an amazing cook for her family and anyone who happened to be around the house at suppertime. She was blessed with a great sense of humor and instilled it in all her children. She was kind to all and generous to anyone in need. Ivy loved to be on the move and never turned down an offer to travel which landed her in many distant countries like China, Thailand, Japan, Britain and Italy.

She also travelled frequently throughout Canada and across the United States to California, plus a couple of adventures to the Caribbean. In what little downtime she had, Ivy also enjoyed doing puzzles and playing scrabble with Tim. She moved to Moncton in 1979 from Point Claire, Quebec with her husband Tim when the family started Sounds Fantastic. Ivy played a key role in getting the family settled and the business started up successfully. By far her favorite and most rewarding enjoyment in life was being with family. She was a beloved Mom, grandma and great grandma.

She will be sadly missed by five sons; Brian (Lynne), Steve, Jeff (Lila), Brad, Scott (Jamie), two daughters Jan (Terry) and Jill (Gary). She will be dearly missed by her seventeen grandchildren; Kevin (Taline), Christopher (Victoria), Autumn (Peter), Patrick, Jessica, Ryan, Alison, Kieran, Nicholas, Regan, Tyler, Wesley, Stephen, Kaileigh, Brandon, Morgan and Talia. She will also be missed by her six great grandchildren; Carter, Brayden, William, Grace, Savannah and Isla. In addition she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews who she loved being with as well as all the friends that she has made along the way. She is also survived by her sister Doreen Sartain (Jim, deceased) of Moncton, sister- in- laws Barb Murphy (Ted, deceased) of Uxbridge and Bernie Kelly-Goulem of Montreal. She will be lovingly remembered by all at the Kelly Family reunions that are held every 5 years.

Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, June 15 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Ivy’s memory made to your favorite children’s charity would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530. The family invites you to send online condolences to www.fairhavenmemorial.ca. The family would like to thank the staff at Camden Park Terrace and Monarch Hall, her angels on earth, for the loving care provided to Ivy. Special thanks to her ever present and outstanding caregiver Heather Cormier.
