    In Boxford, August 27, Capt. Ivory Hovey, aged 82. An ardent patriot and revolutionary soldier who was in the hottest of the battle of Bunker Hill - sustained the office of orderly Sergeant under Capt. Robinson in the trying scenes of New Jersey and Long Island - was in the battle of Trenton and distinguished himself at sundry times by many fearless and heroic deeds -was a man of noble and generous heart - an obliging personal friend, and an active friend of humanity.
