    The Ada Evening News, Monday, June 3, 1997-
    IVA FLOWERS YOUNG, ADA- Services for Iva Lee Flowers Young, 81, Ada are 2 p.m. today at Evangelistic Temple, the Rev. Mickey Keith officiating. Burial follows in Rosedale Cemetery.
    Mrs. Young died May 30, 1997, at a Stonewall nursing home. She was born June 8, 1915, at Konawa, to Bud and Cynthia Sparks.
    She lived in this area all her life and attended Konawa schools. She was a nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital, retiring in 1989 after 35 years. She was a member of Evangelistic Temple.
    She and Leon Flowers were married Oct. 1, 1932. He died Jan. 23, 1962. On June 9, 1967, she and Dudley Young were married. He died Jan. 1, 1971.
    Survivors include a daughter, Johnnie Earlene Flowers Hancock, Ada; two sons, James Flowers and Charles Flowers, both of Ada; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Bearers are Carom Murray, John Ross, Bobby Magar, Virgil Gantt, Solomon Gantt, Daniel Geiser, and Marc Henry.
    Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
