Mrs. Iva Marie Sayre, 87, of 104 E. High St., died Sunday at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Iva Schraeder was born Jan. 8, 1900 in Milton Township, the daughter of Harry and Daisy Vincent Schraeder. She spent her entire life in this area. She married Noble Lippincott in 1923; he died in 1936. She married Albert G. Sayre in 1940. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Milton, Eastern Star 26, Milton Women's Club, and World War I Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; one sister, Ruth Bond of Rockford, Ill.; one grandson and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Seventh Day Baptist Church with burial in the Milton Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name. Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton handled the arrangements.
