Was scalded on the upper body in a work-related accident @@Ducane Light. Lungs were so badly damaged, he never recovered. Went to his brother-in-law's hospital in Virginia to rest and recover. Died of pnneumonia. None Married on Tuesday, June 2. Both Vernie and Iva listed Allegheny, Pennsylvania, as residence on wedding certificate. Occupation: Electrician Clarence C. Allen (Iva's brother) and Barbara Olive Croup (Vernie's sister) witnessed the wedding. Married by C. B. King, Pastor, Bethel Luthern Church. Buried on his 18th wedding anniversary. 41 years of age. Had two children: Edris Virginia, born 9-14-09 Wallace Richard, born 1-12-12 Was told he died of T.B. Played the violin in orchestra.
