Israel Meager was baptised on 12th June 1694 at Benington in Hertfordshire, alongside his twin brother Isaac. They were the sons of Elizabeth Meager, formerly Godfrey, and her husband Anthony Meager. Israel's life has yet to be researched, but it would appear that he died in 1761 in the neighbouring parish of Aston, aged 66.
