Israel Thompson Lamb, son of J. B. Lamb mar. Margaret "Peggy" Winchell Jan. 21, 1811 in Louisville, Ky. He died Nov. 22, 1828 at Rome, Ind. He was agent of Perry County and a member of Gilead Church where he was licensed to exhort. They lived at Rome. They had eleven children: Lucinda, Lavina mar. Mark Hardin, Rachel, Beulah Blanchard mar. Samuel Anderson, Polly Winchell mar. 1st James Lay, 2nd ---- Drinkwater, Cassandra mar. Isaac Whitehead, Sarah mar. James Cooper, James H. mar. 1st Eliza Tobin, 2nd Lydia Tobin, 3rd Catherine Morris Bivin, 4th Cerina "Sally" Reed. Alpheus, never married. Charity Ann mar. James Tong (bible record - another says Mr. Dye). Margaret mar. James Finch. Bathsheba dau of John & B. Lamb mar. David D. Grimes. He was a member of Perry County Board of Commissioners when the Rome Court House was built. Moved to Vanderburg County before 1830.
