    Israel is the son of (Judge) Henry C Harmon and Obedience Tye. He married Mary Elizabeth McKeehan daughter of Peter Tye McKeehan and Lydia Samantha Hart.

    Mary and Israel wed about 1880 and over the next 20 years, while living in whitley county, they became Mom and Dad to (9)siblings. Prior to 1920, the family relocated to Pulaski County, where Israel and Mary spent the final days of their married life.

    They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1930, the year Israel passed away. Doctor's "opinion" is, that he died from heart failure, 14 Sep 1930.

    Isarel P Harmon was laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Williamsburg, on September 16th, where his dear Mary will lay beside upon her demise, 20 years later, in 1950.
