Removes: Israel went with his father's family from Cape Cod to Novia Scotia in 1761. After his marraige, settled at Barington Head, formerly known as "Uncle Ned's Hill". Possible went from there to Barrington Passage but in June 1781, the moved from Barrington to Little River. In March 1792, he removed to Little River and then to Roberts Island.Occupation: Teacher. Having a good education for the times, Israel taught school at Tusket Lakes and as a teacher it was said that he was somewhat lax in government but always his heavy stamp on the floor was a well understood signal of law and order.Church: Argyle Bapist ChurchSource: Doane Genealogy
