    Bio: Isham Meador was my husband's 5th great grandfather through his son, Jobe, who settled in Jackson County, Tennessee. Jobe was born abt 1785 in Virginia and died sometime after 1862. I have not been able to find a burial place for Jobe. Jobe used the surname Meador and Meadows interchangeably.

    Isham probably died in the part of Smith County that became Macon County when it was formed in 1842. His Rev'l War documents indicate he came to Smith County, Tennessee in 1803 or 1807, (it's difficult to read as it was written over).
