Advisory on Isabella Kerr

Some researchers have claimed that Isabella Kerr, daughter of John Kerr and Lucy Pickens married William Gilbreath Falls, but that is NOT the case. The Isabella Kerr that married William Falls is the daughter of John Kerr's brother, William Kerr, based upon family tradition and the fact that Isabella Kerr and William Falls named their first two children, William and Rosanna, after William Kerr and Rosanna Jane Smith, and none of their five daughters were named Lucy, which would have most likely been the case if that Isabella WAS the daughter of John Kerr and Lucy Pickens.

This Isabella Kerr was baptized on October 19, 1740 in Tinkling Springs Church in Augusta County, Virginia, married Joseph Hinds, probably in Augusta County.
