Information I have seen says Priscilla Carter was daughter of Kindred and Mary Carter. Priscilla Carter was married to James Knight. Suspect she died cir 1786- 1792. James Knight died Edgecombe Co.NC cir 1794. James Knight 2nd wife was Lydia ____(?). James Knight had a brother, Moses Knight, who was married to sister of Priscilla. Her name was Charity Carter. Some members of this family moved down toward Davidson Co.Tn Later Alabama, Texas. Supposedly, James and Moses were sons of John Knight who died Edgecombe Co NC cir 1770 and his wife Isabell.
