A number of Daniel and Isabel's children were living with other families during the 1860 US Federal Census (Samuel, Mary, Isabel, Ellen). I believe that the Civil War soldier John Loughner abt 1843-1965 who mustered in Clarion county and lived with a family there in 1860 is one of D&I's children. I can find no other evidence. https://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:John_Loughner_%2817%29

The Civil War soldier Edward Loughner abt 1843-1862 mustered in Clarion county on the same day as John. I believe he is the Edwin Laughner living with Isabel in 1860. https://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Edward_Loughner_%283%29
