Facts and Events
Isaac owned large landed estate at NYC, and in Westchester Co. Old Varian House, and farm on which it was situated was purchased by him, and the house was a prominent landmark on Manhattan for many years. Ethel Baker, while visiting NC in 1947, was told by tour leader that the Varian House was long on his list of prominent places to show, but had been recently torn down, and the large Kresge store had been built there.
