Isaac immigrated on the ship "Lion: in 1631 to Scituate, MA.

In 1633 he was made a freeman.

7 Nov 1636 he joined the church in Barnstable. from Scituate. In 1663 Isaac was living in Falmouth, Barnstable, MA. In 1673 he was in Tisbury on Martha's Vineyard. In 1701 he was in Barnstable, MA

He was for a time disfranchised on account of his sympathy for the Quakers, but was restored to citizenship by Governor Winslow in 1673. He married first at Scituate January 27, 1636, Margaret Hanford of Scituate. She was a sister of the Rev. Thomas Hanford and niece of Timothy Hatherly. She died June 13, 1649.

Their children were: I. Susannah, born at Scituate Jan. 21, 1637, died before 1664. 2. John, born at Barnstable April 5, 1640; went from Falmouth to Connecticut in 1714. 4. Fear, born at Barnstable Jan. 26, 1644, married Rev. Samuel Baker of Barnstable. 5. Mercy, born at Barnstable July 4, 1647, married William Weeks, March 16, 1669. 6. A daughter, June 6, 1649.

In 1650 Isaac married his second wife, Mary (???) (not the sister of the "famous Elder Faunce of Plymouth," as has been claimed.)(*) Children by Mary: 1. Israel, born in Barnstable Oct. 5, 1651; after the death of his brother lsaac in 1668, he took the name of Isaac. 2. Jacob, born in Barnstable May 10, 1653, married Experience; died 1733. 3. Peter, born in Barnstable 1655; said to have gone to Norwich, Conn. 4. Thomas, born in Falmouth 1666-7. Some authorities state that he removed to Guilford, Conn., but we find no proof of it.    "OCCUPATION: OCCUPATION: Innkeeper. On 7 February 1664/5 Isaac Robinson was approved to keep an ordinary at Saconcesett 'since there is great recourse to and fro by travellers to Martin s Vineyard and Nantucket' [PCR 4:80]."
   "BIRTH: Leiden, Holland, about 1610 (aged 92 years, 4 April 1702 [Sewall 463]), son of Rev. John and Bridget (White) Robinson.
   DEATH: At Barnstable in 1704 (so stated in all secondary sources, but no evidence supplied). (On 4 April 1702 Samuel Sewall wrote 'Visit Mr. [Isaac] Robinson, who saith he is 92 years old, is the son of Mr. [John] Robinson pastor of the church of Leyden, part of which came to Plimo. But to my disappointment he came not to New England till the year [1631] in which Mr. [John] Wilson was returning to England after the settlement of Boston. I told him was very desirous to see him for his father's sake, and his own. Gave him an Arabian piece of gold to buy a book for some of his grandchildren' [Sewall 463-64].)"
