Isaac Reed, s/o Jacob and Experience [sic, see following comment], m. 15 Apr 1794 Ruth Brown. Moved to Waltham.
[Isaac is assigned to generation 7, suggesting the parentage was intended to be Jacob and Patience (gen. 6) rather than Jacob and Experience (gen.5), and this was a mistake caused by Reed's pattern of sloppiness during compiling. Regardless of intent, that Isaac is the son of Jacob and Patience is shown by the age at death specified on the Waltham death record, 77, in 1847, giving a birth about 1770. The son of Jacob and Experience named Isaac was born 1730-1 and so clearly was not the man who moved to Waltham. The Waltham death record of his wife Ruth, identifies her as the daughter of Samuel Brown, and her age at death gives a birth about 1774, showing Reed's entire blurb applies to the son of Jacob and Patience.]
