---Isaac Potter died at the residence of his son, north-west of Kewanee, last Saturday, Feb. 2d, aged 90 years, 9 months and 11 days. The deceased was born in Rumny, Md., where he lived until seven years of age, when his family moved to Pittsburg, Pa. He lived in that city 15 years, after which he moved to Ohio, remaining there 36 years, then coming to Illinois, where he has resided for the past 31 years. He was married to Catherine Hixenbaugh, at Pittsburg, Pa., in 1815, who died about 19 years since. He had been a faithful and consistent member of the Christian church for about 60 years. The funeral was conducted at the residence of his son Monday afternoon. --Courier.

An 1892 Maryland law referred to a Rumney or Rumny Creek, but it was in Hartford Co., not Allegheny Co.
