"Nichols, Isaac, s. of John. Called 'son of John sometimes of Fairfield', he m. (Stratford rec.) 15 Aug. 1672, Esther Clark. She was dau, of John of New Haven, bapt. 1 Mar. 1645. He was also called 'Cousin' Isaac in Stratford records to distinguish him from his uncle. He settled in Derby, where he was Deacon. He d. at Derby, 20 Dec. 1713. Esther d. 14 Jan. 1716/7. Adm'n granted to brother Samuel and widow Esther, 4 Jan, 1714. Distribution to widow and only dau."
