Info. from FAG member Cherie Officer, Olean Evening Times, Nov. 6, 1929 Page 3 and Nov. 11, 1929 Page 3. Isaac was killed when struck by a train at the Pennsylvania Railroad crossing on King St. in the city of Olean, NY. He lived at 101 Taggerty Ave. He was a real character and very well known. Born on the Windfall Rd. (probably Town of Olean, but could be Town of Portville) He was noted for his fish stories, being an ardent disciple of Isaac Walton, and his catches were the envy of fisherman in the East Olean area, who held their angling ambitions in leash until "Old Ike" pronounced the season open. Wife Sarah and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Cleveland of Olean. Funeral was held at his home on Nov.8, 1929.
