    Isaac Kauffman d. 1738; his wife Elizabeth d. 1751, both in what is now Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
    Isaac was probably the son of Täuferleher [Baptist teacher] Isaace Kauffman who lived at Bamberg, Parish Steiffisburg, near Thun, Switzerland.
    Isaac settled in what is now Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1717. He received a Land Warrant in September of that year, along with Hans Tuber and Melker Erisman.
    The land was surveyed on 9 November 1734.
    Isaac was naturalized in 1727.
    On 21 oct 1735, Isaac paid for the survey of 300 acres on a branch of the Chicasalunga , but had not yet received the patent by the time of his death i 1738.
