GRAHAM — Mr. Isaac “June” Holt Jr.., 82, of 5447 Thompson Mill Road, died at 3:57 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002. He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft during World War II. He then founded Holt Lumber Co. in 1945. He was an incorporator and founding director of Bank of America, and later served on the board of BB&T. He was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.. Dinah Jo Shoffner, of Graham; three sons, Mr. Willie Holt of Snow Camp, and Mr. Isaac “Ike” Holt III and Mr. Chesley June Holt, both of Graham; two stepdaughters, Mrs.. Sandra Sexton of Pittsboro and Mrs.. Mary Braxton of Graham; two stepsons, Mr. Steve Lawson and Mr. Andy Lawson, both of Graham; a sister, Mrs.. Lillian H. Roberson of Graham; nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six sisters, Mrs.. Freddie Fulton, Mrs.. Ann Crabtree, Mrs.. Della Paris, Mrs.. Bonnie Hood, Mrs.. Mabel Davis and Mrs.. Mary Brooks; and four brothers, Mr. Heenan Holt, Mr. Ted Holt, Mr. Monk Holt and Mr. Bill Holt. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church by the Rev. Rick Moser and Mr. Grady Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 tonight, and at other times at the home of a daughter, Mrs.. Dinah Jo Shoffner, 2355 South NC 87, Graham, and at the home of a son, Mr. Chesley June Holt, 5431 Thompson Mill Road, Graham. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, 4178 Mt.
