  1.   Buried in the grave yard of the First Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh PA. Major, Revolutionary War. Came to American in 1765, landing near Philadelphia. He was a house carpenter and worked at this trade becoming a master builder which he continued until the breaking our of the Revolution. He enlisted in the navy. In November 1775, he was commissioned lieutenant of marines (probably the first ever appointed in our navy) and was on the ill fated "Andrew Doria", then commanded by Nicholas Biddle. For further description see page 888 , Colonial and Revolutionary Families of Pennsylvania, under "Chaplin". From Ireland, served this country in both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.
  2.   Listed as a Plaintiff, in a land case from 1803. Isaac needs the deposition of Ebenezer Zane "who founded Wheeling, but who also did the original survey of a piece of land in 1769 at 'Redstone Oldfort' which isaac craig came to own, and was leasing to a Richard Smith. Now in West Brownsville, PA.
  3.   ISAAC CRAIG AND JAMES O'HARA FOUNDED THE "PITTSBURGH GLASS WORKS" IN 1781. HE WITH DREW FROM THE FIRM IN 1804. WINDOW GLASS AND BOTTLES WERE PRODUCED. IT WAS LOCATED ACROSS FROM PITTSBURGH ON THE MONOGAHELA RIVER.

John Neville of the VA line, sol d 14 May 1825 or 1826 at his home on Montours Island near Pittsburgh, wid appl 6 Sep 1838 Allegheny Cty PA a res of Montours Island PA and she was still there in 1849, children were; Harriet b 26 Dec 1785, Nevitt (Nevill) b 20 Mary (Mar) 1791, John Nevill b 7 Feb 1795, Wiliam b 26 Nov 1794 and d prior to 1838, a female b and d in Apr 1796 on the same day, Isaac Eugenius b 31 Mar 1797 and d prior to 1838, Winifred b 22 Apr 1796 and d prior to 1838, Oldham b 14 Mar 1800, Amelia b 7 Jul 1801 and Nancy b in 1802 and d prior to 1838, the name of Col. A. K. Craig was mentioned in the claim but no relationship was stated, wid's bro Gen'l Presley Neville of Woodville PA was mentioned by his age not shown.
