Isaac Carter, 90, formerly of 900 Lindenwood, died Friday in a Topeka convalescent center.
He was born Oct. 3, 1878, near Auburn and spent most of his life in the Topeka community. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Topeka Lodge No. 17, AFAM. He was a retired postal railway clerk.
His wife, Mrs. Mabel Tulloch Carter, died in 1957.
Survivors include two sons, Jack C. Carter, Springfield, Mo., and Charles T. Carter, Independence, Kansas; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
