GRIEF AT PT. CLINTON
Special to the Star-Journal: PORT CLINTON, March 7.-Sunday afternoon at one o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Floyd Tifft at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McRitchie. She had been ill for two years with tuberculosis. Every possible thing was done to stay the progress of the dread disease but to no avail. Last winter she spent at Pine Bluff, N. C., but on her return she began to fail and gradually grew worse until death relieved her. Irma McRitchie Tifft was born in this place March 22, 1880, being the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McRitchie. Five years ago last June she was married to Mr. Floyd Tuft of Cuyahoga where they lived a short time, coming back to Port Clinton later where they had since lived. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, two sisters, Misses Har-riett and Mabel and one brother, Mack McRitchie of Sandusky. Not only will her family miss her but also her many friends for her kind and loving service and her cheerful, happy disposition. Her untimely and sad death has cast a deep shadow over this community and sympathy is expressed on all, sides for the bereaved family. The funeral services will be held Wednesday. It has not yet been de-cided whether they will be at the church or the family residence.
