  1. Irene (LaCumsky) French Lattimore
Irene (LaCumsky) French Lattimore passed away peacefully on January 13, 2007, at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio. Irene was born on February 26, 1926, in Danbury Township, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Puestow) LaCumsky. She was a graduate of Lakeside (Danbury) High School with the class of 1944.
On May 4, 1946, Irene married Herbert Richard "Dick" French of Port Clinton in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Danbury. Dick passed away in January, 1958, at the early age of 32. On September 1, 1962, Irene became the wife of William Robert "Bill" Lattimore of Gypsum, Ohio, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Danbury, and they enjoyed a vibrant life together until his passing in July, 1987.
Over the years, Irene had been a clerk at Adams Market and Johnnie's Supermarket in Port Clinton and Michnay's Stop and Shop in Danbury. She then retired from Sears in Sandusky, Ohio in 1994, as a customer service clerk in the Parts Department with over 21 years of service.
Irene was a charter member and past president of Mother's Roundtable C.C.L. and still an active member for over 55 years, past president of St. Paul's Ladies Aid Society, first president of St. Paul A.L.C.W. in 1962, member of Altar Guild, secretary of St. Paul W.E.L.C.A., past church council member, choir member for over 50 years, member of Christian Women, Moose Lodge Auxiliary # 281, AAL Branch #10151 and a Magruder Hospital Volunteer for many years.
Irene loved to be involved in her church and her community. She rarely missed an event at the ball fields, on the tennis court, in the gym, or any music event or school program that involved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved being active out of her home and preferred spending her time at home visiting with friends and relatives on the telephone, her life line. She will be greatly missed.
Irene is survived by her daughter: Susan (James) Kalinoski of Catawba Island; son: Lee (Debbie) French of Willard; brother: Eugene "Bud" (Shirley) LaCumsky of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Michael (Charlotte) Kalinoski of Marblehead, Jason Kalinoski of Tallahassee, FL, Melissa (Curt) Hanson of Catawba Island, Garie Richards of Toledo, and Ryan French of Willard.
