Mrs. Irene E. Moffett Quinn, 83, wife of Lawrence E Sr of Beach Tree Road, Aurelius, died Monday, Sept 5, 1994 at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Oil City, Pa and resided there in her earlier years before moving to Aurelius in 1941. She was a charter member of the Auburn Alliance Church. She worked many years as an elections inspector for the town of Aurelius.
Surviving in addition to he husband are four daughters, Mrs. John (Joann) Fallon of Elbridge, Mrs Louis (Marylin) Proulx, Mrs Howard (Esther) Lukins, Mrs John (Janet) Wyant all of Aurelius; five sons, Lawrence E Jr and his wife Janet of Sennett, Joseph F and his wife Janet of Owego, James R and his wife Karen of Aurelius, Timothy W and his wife Barbara of Harrisburg, Pa; One sister Mrs John (Mary) Vasbinder of Pleasantville, Pa; 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, following visitation. The family will receive friend immediately following the service at the church. The Rev David Richter will officiate. The burial will be in Weedsport Rural Cemetery.
