IRA R. McKINNEY Frankfort, May 9, 1952--Ira Restine McKinney, 79, former county councilman, died at 4 a.m. today in his home on Kelly road near Frankfort. He had been ill four months with a heart ailment. Born in Clinton County, he was married in 1902 to Edna E. Weaver. He taught for 35 years in schools of Sugar Creek, Kirklin, and Jackson townships. For 12 years he was president of the Clinton County council and was deputy surveyor for a year. He also was a retired farmer. Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Bill of Rossville, and John, of Frankfort; three daughters, Misses Esther and Ethel, both at home, and Mrs. Roy Conrad, of Monticello; and two brothers, H.J. McKinney and Albert R. McKinney, both of Clinton County.
