Phillips---Ira Harnden, East Wilton, died suddenly Sunday afternoon while hunting in the East section of Phillips. He was accompanied by his nine year old son, Harrison, and had shot at a deer when he died, apparently as the result of a heart attack. Officers Benjamin Butler and Earl Hawkens investigated the case. Mr. Harnden was born in Philadelphia, Jan. 26, 1894, the son of Frank W. and Rose Wing Harden. He married Louise Davenport Sept. 2, 1918. Besides his wife, and his one son, he leaves two brothers, Earl and Delmar of Phillips, and three sisters, Mrs. Esma Haddington of Monmouth, Mrs. Carl Hagan and Mrs. Filmore Harnden of Phillips.

In Phillips, Nov. 13, Ira Ira W. Harnden of Wilton. Private funeral services will be held from the Edwards' Funeral Home, Wilton, at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Friends may call between 11 and 12:30 o'clock. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Phillips.
