translation: Legend tells that the plague came to Hem one day, and three of the household became sick and died one after the other. They were Ormar Borgarsson, Ingeborg (wife of Aulvir) and the mother, the old Aslaug. Aulvir was not at home then. In early autumn, he had traveled to Troserud in Heddal, which belonged to their clan at Hem.
