John and James bought land about a mile west of thepresent (1996) Sugar Grove Community Church; Samuel's land was a milefarther west and a little north. Samuel (husband of Julia) had been m.previously to America Newell who died. Sometime after Julia's death hem. Sarah Speer. Samuel d.
