John and hisbrothers, Samuel and James McCullough were b. in Ireland, came to the U.S. and located near Kittlaning in western PA., from where they came toWayne Co., IN. John and James bought land about a mile west of thepresent (1996) Sugar Grove Community Church; Samuel's land was a milefarther west and a little north. Samuel (husband of Julia) had been m.previously to America Newell who died. Sometime after Julia's death hem. Sarah Speer. Samuel d.
