Ilene J (Pocock) Harrison, 75, 135 Berkshire Drive, died early Monday morn ing in the ICU at Memorial Hospital.

Ilene was born in Fremont to the now-deceased Ralph and Roseanna (Waggone r) Pocock and graduated from Ross High School in 1946. On March 11, 197 8, Ilene married Staunton R Harrison and he preceded her on Dec. 19, 200 2.

Ilene is survived by daughter Vicki (Kim) Huffman of Fremont; brother Gle nn (Molly) Pocock of Toledo; grandchildren Allison (Joseph) Zam of Port Cl inton and Lauren Gray and Aaron Gray, both of Fremont; niece Paula Poco ck (Richard) Loss of Sylvania; nephew Mathew (Colleen) Pocock of Swanto n; stepdaughters Karen (Ronald) Shawl of Fremont and Lisa Harrison Schwar tz of Madison, Ala.; stepsons Staunton R (Dianne) Harrison Jr of Pensacol a, Fla., and Greg Harrison of Oak Harbor; and 12 stepgrandchildren and eig ht stepgreat-grandchildren.

Ilene had worked at The News-Messenger as society editor, an executive sec retary at the former Crown Rubber CO and as a secretary for Fremont Ci ty Schools.

Ilene was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a memb er of the Priscilla Circle. She also belonged to the Christian Women's Clu b, several bridge clubs in the area and was also a volunteer solicitor f or the American Cancer Society's office.

Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Court and Clo ver streets, with Rev. Robert Quillen officiating. Mrs. Harrison will l ie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials: St. John's or the American Cancer Society.
