Mrs. Polston Succumbs Here Aged Woman’s Rites will be in Kentucky Mrs. Idella Polston, 87, died Saturday at 9:00 pm at the home of a son, Omra Polston, 300 Frank St. She had been ill 6 weeks. A native of Jamestown, KY, Mrs. Polston was born June 6, 1871, the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Gibson) Scott. She was married to Asa D. Polston and had resided at the son’s home here since his death in 1944. A daughter, Mrs. Balla Sullivan, preceded her in death and surviving with the son here is another son, Orvis Polston of Indianapolis. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one brother, Grover Scott of Russell Springs, KY and one sister, Mrs. Clementine Gossar of Plainfield, Ill.

Mrs. Polston was a member of the Methodist Church at Jamestown.  Local funeral arrangements were in charge of the Murphy Mortuary and the body was taken Sunday to the Pruitt Funeral Home in Jamestown were friends may call.  Last rites will be held in Park Ridge Community Church in Jamestown Tuesday (the rest of the scan is missing.)
