Ida Zepp Crumrine
Ida Zepp Crumrine, 97, originally of Wadsworth, died in Seminole, Fla., on November 19, 2008.
She was a graduate of Wadsworth High School as valedictorian and of Akron University, and taught in the Copley School system for thirteen years. She was a member of the Wadsworth United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for thirty-five years.
In 1980 she and her husband, Robert, moved to St. Pete Beach, Fla., where she was a member of the Pass-a-Grille Yacht Club and Women's Club, serving as president for several years. In 1995 she moved to Freedom Square Retirement Community in Seminole, Fla., where she spent an active life as a member of many resident committees. She was also a member of the Oakhurst United Methodist Church in Seminole.
She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her loving daughters, Roberta Crumrine of Cambridge, Mass., and Carol Eich and son-in-law Wayne Eich, of Charleston, W. Va.
A memorial service in Florida is being planned for December 30th.
