PARIS - Ida Milton Perkins Howard, 84, Winchester Street, retired Irvin Air Chute employee, wife of Frank H. Howard, died Monday, February 24, 2003 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1918 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late James and Rebecca Frederick Perkins, attended Paris City schools, and was a member of the First Church of God. Mrs. Howard is also survived by three sons, Virgil (Barbara) Arnold, Paris, Bob (Shirley) Arnold, Shepherdsville, Billy (Rachel) Arnold, Nicholasville; a daughter, Brenda Reinert, Manchester, OH; a sister, Evelyn Thurman, Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Timothy W. Pierce with interment in the Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
