IDA (PAUL) SWARTZWELDER New Republic, September 22, 1994

   Ida (Paul) Swartzwelder, 92, of Salisbury, died Sept. 15, 1994, at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home.
   Born April 8, 1902, in Greenville Township, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah (Miller) Paul.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Swartzwelder and a son, Harold G. Swartzwelder.   Survivors include a son, Hubert P. Swartzwelder, Somerset; a daughter, Esther Perrotta, Visalia, Ca.; and six grandchildren.  Mrs. Swartzwelder was a homemaker and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. Funeral services were held Sept. 17 at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
