Ida Bell (Lewis) (Crumrine) Butler was born on July 31, 1869 in Alabama, and she was the daughter of James H "Jim" Lewis (ca 1825– ) and Mary ( -- ) Lewis (ca 1842– ).
She was married 1st on July 8, 1888 in Madison County, Alabama to Grant Crumrine (1867–bef 1916), the son of Aaron R Crumrine (1837–1910) and Nancy Ellen (Weaver) Crumrine (ca 1842– ). Ida was married 2nd on September 21, 1916 in Nashville, Tennessee as the 2nd wife of Samuel Stone "S S" Butler Sr (1874-1943), the son of Thomas Harvey Butler Sr (1819–1889) and Sarah Ann (Holford) Butler (1834–1900). S S had been married 1st on July 4, 1893 in Nashville to Nannie Etta Holly (1871–1913), the daughter of Francis Creed "Frank" Holly (1838–1900) and Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Parker) (Scruggs) Holly (1837–1899).
Living at 1213 Brown Street, Nashville, Tennessee, Ida was 67 years old and married when she died at home of mitral stenosis on October 25, 1936. Burial was the next day in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
